Where to Vote in Arbutus on Election Day 2026
26 October 2026
Maryland's general election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you live in Arbutus, Halethorpe, Relay or nearby, you also have a convenient early voting center right in town at the Arbutus Recreation Center on Sulphur Spring Road. Here is a quick, practical guide so you know exactly where to go and what to bring.
Can I vote early in Arbutus?
Yes. The Arbutus Recreation Center, 865 Sulphur Spring Road, is one of Baltimore County's 11 early voting centers. Early voting runs through Thursday, October 29, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. Any registered Baltimore County voter can use any of the county's early voting centers, so this one is handy whether you live near East Drive or over in Lansdowne.

Can I still register to vote?
Yes. You can register in person at any early voting center through October 29, and Maryland also offers same-day registration at your polling place on Election Day. Bring proof of where you live. The state elections website lists the documents that count.
How do I return a mail-in ballot?
If you already have a mail-in ballot, drop it in an official ballot drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day, or mail it so it is postmarked by Election Day. Drop box locations are listed on the state elections website.
What does this mean if I just moved to Arbutus?
If you recently bought or rented a home here, make sure your voter registration has your new address. You can update it on the state elections website, or use same-day registration with proof of your new address. It is one of those little moving-day chores that is easy to forget.
